Working in the creative, cultural and heritage sectors can create unique safeguarding challenges.

This course will develop your understanding of how the people and activities involved in your work will impact on your safeguarding environment. You will explore safeguarding children within your own context and focus on how you might identify and respond to safeguarding concerns.

Throughout this session you will have opportunities to interact with other professionals, take part in practical activities to expand your knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, and explore your own personal safeguarding context.

To further support your development the course provides links to relevant documents and online resources so that you can continue to build your knowledge and understanding beyond the sessions.

This training day will be split over two sessions:

Session 1: Tuesday 24th May, 10am – 12.30pm

Session 2: Thursday 26th May, 10am – 12.30pm
