CLOtC National Conference 2025: Creating Connections, Engaging All, Enriching Lives

12 November @ 08:30 - 16:30

£150

The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC) will host its CLOtC National Conference 2025 on Wednesday 12th November 2025 at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. The event will bring together 300 education professionals to explore the theme ‘Creating Connections, Engaging All, Enriching Lives’ and how learning outside the classroom (LOtC) supports enrichment, curriculum learning and health and wellbeing.
The conference will give teachers and school staff an opportunity to meet with organisations that offer educational visits and activities to discuss how LOtC provides unlimited opportunities to create meaningful, inclusive experiences for all. Delegates will explore how LOtC experiences create relevance and connections – to communities, society, and the environment – that not only enrich learning but also celebrate diversity, foster a sense of belonging, and build strong links between people and places.
Dr. Anne Hunt, CEO of CLOtC, emphasised the impact of LOtC, stating: “The evidence is clear that learning beyond the classroom enhances academic outcomes, wellbeing, and environmental awareness. This conference aims to empower teachers and providers to confidently develop their learning outside the classroom.”
The conference will feature keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities aimed at helping educators make LOtC more accessible and enriching. Early bird tickets are available until 30th April 2025. For more information, visit www.lotc.org.uk/clotc-national-conference-2025.
