Do you want to create ways for families to interact playfully with your collections?

This training webinar will be led by Play Trainer and Consultant Charlotte Derry, who has worked with organisations including Happy Museum and Play Wales. Charlotte will share her top tips for creating playful prompts that work at your venue.

Charlotte was a mentor on our Play in a Socially Distanced World project in 2020, which supported 11 museums to develop safe and playful ways for families to interact with their collections.

She will be joined by Claire Hargreaves from the National Museum of the Royal Navy, which successfully piloted playful approaches on board HMS Victory as part of the project.

The webinar will help delegates to:

gain an understanding of different play styles
be inspired by the playful prompts created by the National Museum of the Royal Navy
learn how families can explore your collections through play.
