
Engaging Young People: GEM North West Bring and Share

Join us at Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery in Carlile, Cumbria for a thought provoking and collaborative day, as we focus on engaging young audiences with a focus on ages 12-25. This event is ideal for anyone working with young people in a museum, gallery, or cultural setting.
This event will provide the opportunity to:
-Hear about good practice & how other organisations have navigated *insert topic*, through a series of talks
-Share issues that you / your organisation is facing in this area, and collaboratively discuss, share ideas, and -problem solve with peers working in similar areas
-Build and strengthen connections with colleagues working across cultural learning, participation and education teams in the north west.
-Visit organisations in the region, and enjoy a tour of our host venue.
Timings for the day are as follows:
11:00 am-12pm: Arrive at Tullie House / drop-in networking coffee session
12 -1pm: Presentations / case studies by guest speakers
1- 2pm: Lunch (lunch will be provided and is included in your ticket price)
2-2:45pm: Workshop
2:45-3:30 pm: Discussion / problem solving & session close
3.30-4.30pm – Optional extra: museum tour by our venue host
This session is open to all GEM members and non-members. GEM member tickets are £20, and non-member tickets are £25.
