Freelancer Wellbeing: Looking after our own wellbeing

2 July @ 10:00 - 11:30
£5.00
Freelancing can offer flexibility, autonomy, and fulfilling work, but it can come with challenges. Research into freelancer mental health has found issues such as uncertainty, loneliness, cancelled projects, late payments, and the increased cost of living can all impact on wellbeing.

In this workshop, participants will:
  • Learn how to create a freelance practice that supports you to centre your wellbeing
  • Understand more about freelancer burnout and how to identify and decrease burnout
  • Find out more about barriers to freelancer wellbeing and how to navigate them. The final content of the session will be tailored to meet the needs of participants, but we expect this might include topics such as contracting, payment terms, fees and budgeting, setting boundaries, and clear communication with clients

This 90-minute Zoom session will include interactive exercises, including individual and group activities, and the use of Chat and Breakout Rooms. Participants can choose whether to participate in each activity.
