Come along to our AGM 2024 to help shape the future of our organisation. All GEM Members are encouraged to attend this meeting, and to read the associated papers in advance. 

Our AGM will take place during GEM Conference 2024 at MShed and online, but is open to all members regardless of Conference attendance. If you are booked to attend our conference you will receive a link to the session alongside your other conference activities. GEM Members who are not attending this year’s conference can register for their place below to receive the joining information.

This meeting will include a proposed change to the GEM governing document to add an exception to the maximum term limits of 6 years for the Chair, Deputy Chair and Trustee roles, as advised by GEM’s governance consultants and following consultation with members earlier this year.

The change we are recommending has been drafted into the Articles in 3.8 and 3.9 (see document attached) to include the wording “Unless the General Meeting resolve that the Chair or Deputy Chair shall continue to be a Trustee”, with a similar clause to 3.9 relating to other trustees “Unless the General Meeting resolve that a retiring trustee shall continue to be a trustee”

We will also be inviting you all to elect new Trustees at this AGM.
