Group for Education in Museums (GEM) champions excellence in heritage learning to improve the education, health and wellbeing of the general public. GEM is for everyone interested in learning through museums and heritage.

GEM Cymru invites learning, museum and teaching professionals in Wales to its first virtual coffee morning on Friday 27th November, 11am – 12 noon. This coffee morning is for anyone working or volunteering in a heritage or school setting, who is interested in learning through museums and heritage.

During the coffee morning you’ll meet GEM Cymru’s representatives. We’ll share information about the work of GEM along with its plans to support the museum and heritage sector in Wales.

We’ll invite you to share your thoughts on how we can best support your work. This might be developing new skills, supporting knowledge around the new Welsh curriculum or sharing experiences of reopening heritage sites and developing learning programmes in light of the pandemic.

This meeting will be held via Zoom. You will be sent a joining link 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start.

This session will be delivered in English.
