Nicola Kelly, Esmee Fairbairn Collections Fund Development Officer at the Dylan Thomas Centre, shares her experience of working co-productively with Your Voice Advocacy. YVA is a user-led advocacy organisation for adults with learning disabilities. They’ve been working with the Swansea Council-operated venue since 2015, supporting the development of easy-read guides and feedback forms, and creating a visual story. Nicola will also discuss the new Agored qualification she’s initiated and trialled with YVA, ‘Participating in Museum and Heritage Activities’, which is the first accessible museum qualification of its kind for adults and young people.
