GEM North East Natter – Intergenerational Work
3 July @ 15:00 - 16:00
Free
Join GEM North East for an informal online natter discussing intergenerational work.
Ruth Chittenden, Community Engagement Officer at The Story (home to County Durham’s Archives and local collections) will begin the session by sharing about a recent ‘Intergenerational Stories’ event. She will share the successes, challenges and participant feedback from this event which was co-produced with Durham Youth Council.
Following a short presentation, there will be time for everyone to discuss their experiences of working intergenerationally in breakout rooms, to ask and answer questions, troubleshoot issues and share ideas.
Take a break from emails and bring along a cuppa to have a chat with like-minded people in similar roles. All those who work or think about learning in a museum, gallery or heritage setting are welcome, whether or not you are a GEM member.
