There is increasing awareness of the benefits of taking learning outdoors. Taking learning beyond the classroom – whether that is in school grounds, home learning environments or a local space – is a vital tool to help deliver the curriculum safely and support children’s learning, health and wellbeing. Dave Scourfield, Outdoor Education Adviser will share practical advice and guidance of how to plan, deliver and evaluate learning experiences beyond the classroom, and The Park Primary School will talk about how they use outdoor learning at their school.
