SEND: Programming for Schools

17 October 2019 @ 10:30 - 16:30

£175 – £195

This practical one-day workshop will look at how to programme for schools with special educational needs and disabilities. Explore different approaches to multi-sensory and interactive learning, discovering how hands-on tactile objects and activities can encourage exploration of collections.

Learning from V&A case studies and a practice sharing session, you will be guided through the key factors to consider when programming and delivering adaptable sessions based on your group’s needs. The course is run by Cash Aspeek, an experienced artist and educator, who works predominately with marginalised groups of adults, teenagers and children living with learning difficulties. She has an MA in Inclusive Arts Practice and has developed and delivered arts education and SEND family sessions in many London museums.
