We are recruiting a full-time Family Learning Producer who will join our Learning team. The successful candidate will develop and deliver an accessible, world-class and audience-led family programme at the National Army Museum in Chelsea.
Inspired by the Museum’s collection and aligned to the Museum’s key themes, the family programme will offer exciting, innovative and high-quality experiences for children aged 0-12 including science shows, workshops, challenge activities, gallery tours, story-telling, live interpretation, special events and nation-wide festivals. The Family Learning Producer will help shape the way in which families engage with, and connect with the rich history of the British Army.
The role will involve co-ordinating, researching, designing, delivering and evaluating a vibrant, original, relevant and fun, participatory family learning programme. The post-holder will be required to programme and commission activities from third parties, lead activities such as family gallery tours and shows, and work closely with colleagues in the Learning team to ensure that the Museum’s galleries, projects, programmes and digital resources offer a high-quality experience for young visitors.
