We are currently recruiting freelance teachers and tour leaders:
FREELANCE KS2-4 TEACHERS
Experienced and enthusiastic freelance teachers required to join the Thames Explorer team. Capable of delivering KS2-4 history programmes, outdoors and indoors, from our sites along the River Thames in London. If you can motivate and inspire young people and would be happy teaching outside in all weathers, we would love to hear from you. For further information on the history programmes we run click here.
FREELANCE TOUR LEADERS
We are also looking to recruit freelancers to lead our In the Footsteps of Mudlarks events, these are two-hour family tours of the Thames foreshore from our sites at Millennium Bridge, Greenwich and Rotherhithe. This role involves leading a group of up to 20 attendees (aged 5+) in exploring the foreshore for historical artefacts in line with Thames Explorer’s safe and ethical approach and engaging attendees through providing historical context to the artefacts they find.
