Part of this world-class group, the Science and Industry Museum (SIM) in Manchester creates an ambitious, creative and accessible year-round programme of contemporary science events and resources. A highlight of this programme, the Manchester Science Festival, has regional, national and international significance and celebrates Manchester’s position as a leading world city of science.
In this role, you will lead the team responsible for this exciting programme at SIM. You will also advise on, and help to oversee, festival and shared programming across the Science Museum Group, ensuring that all SMG Festivals and shared events programmes are of world-class quality and impact.
Joining us, you’ll have solid experience in managing large and complex events or programmes, ideally within the cultural sector. You’ll be comfortable building and maintaining professional partnerships with individuals, groups or other stakeholders for the benefit of the Museum and wider Group and will enjoy using your creativity to develop successful and innovative programming.
