The Landmark Arts Centre is seeking an experienced and creative arts education professional to join our small team. The successful candidate will manage and further develop our learning and participation programme for both adults and children. So if you have at least 2 years’ relevant experience and are a creative, enthusiastic person passionate about arts education and community learning you could be the person we need. The post is 32 hours per week, with some evening and weekend work expected.
The Landmark is a Registered Charity governed by a Board of Trustees. We operate a vibrant programme of events and exhibitions ranging from concerts by well-known performers to highly regarded art fairs and exhibitions. Since the creation of our dedicated visual arts teaching space in 2012, learning and participation has become a cornerstone of our overall programme. Currently this is chiefly visual and performing arts classes for adults & children, but also includes community events such as holiday workshops, performance opportunities for local schools and family events such as The Big Draw. In 2021 we will be working on a new initiative with a local adult college to deliver a new range of therapeutic activities for older adults and those experiencing early onset dementia.
The Landmark is situated in Teddington in south west London, between Twickenham and Kingston-upon-Thames. The nearest train station is Teddington with frequent, direct trains into London (Waterloo) and we are well served by local buses, connecting with Richmond, Twickenham & Kingston.
