
An exciting opportunity to play a key role in the re-launch of the Ragged School Museum as part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLFH) project.
The Operations and Visitor Services Manager will have overall responsibility for managing the building, the commercial lettings activity and providing a quality visitor experience. You will help to develop a sustainable model of operation, integrating into a small inter-disciplinary team and reporting to the Museum Director and the Board of Trustees.
This is a full time position (35 hours per week. Mon- Fri, 9am-5pm) and will involve some weekend and evening work.

Be able to work full-time within central London and able to work evening and weekends
About the Role:
· Responsibility for day to day building management, IT and operations.
· To establish and deliver a thriving private commercial and community hire including business development, pricing strategy, promotion and management of bookings.
· Manage customer service and front of house, to include assistance with reception area and Museum shop as required and management of appropriate volunteers.
· To assist the Director with marketing and communications, with a focus on attracting repeat & new adult audiences.
· To be the main point of contact for the café/restaurant and shared lettable workspace.
· Contributing to regular management reporting.
