I founded nikreations in 1998, and since then, I have gained extensive experience in CAD, 3D modelling, and software development. After working for five years as a software developer at a digital stock photography agency, I transitioned to become a full-time architectural photographer in 2004. In 2012, I was selected as a trusted photographer for Google’s Street View inside businesses program, where I created high-quality 360° walkthrough virtual tours of business premises on Google Maps. In recent years, I have been creating on-brand bespoke virtual tours for galleries, historic churches, and heritage sites. Additionally, I have been authoring engaging VR experiences, deepzoom applications, and other marketing, PR, education, and research materials using my software development capabilities.

I am a senior cultural heritage professional with over 17 years’ experience in nationals such as the Imperial War Museum, the National Trust and the Royal Collection Trust as well as place-specific organisations such as Turner Contemporary and Artswork. I love working hands on with children & young people delivering cultural education, and more recently have focussed on project management including fundraising, strategic planning, governance and contract negotiation and commissioning. I have delivered complex, sold out events from ‘in conversation’ talks with artists and curators to national conferences. I have convened and supported several networks and partnership groups in the cultural sector. I am experienced in producing marketing copy, learning resources, and exhibition interpretation. I work across the south of England and am based in East Kent.

My name is Jason Hulott and I am the chief instructor at Canterbury Medieval Combat and Nishimon Dojo. I have been teaching Medieval weapon-based arts for 20 years. I have a main background in Japanese Iaijutsu and Kenjutsu. In the last 7 years I have been teaching European medieval combat, primarily following the martial system of the German tradition.
I am a museum trustee for the Combined Military Services Museum in Maldon, a historical book reviewer for Pen and Sword books. I have also run combat workshops for a range of institutions and worked with authors to make their fictional combat scenes more historically accurate.
