Focused Learning and Interpretation works independently and as part of the Heritage Now Consortium of independent heritage consultants, designers and illustrators.
We have developed:
HLF Activity and Interpretation plans for the Woodland Trust, Brecon Beacons NPA, Ampthill Great Park, St John at Hackney, the Jewish Cemetery at Willesden, London, Wappenshall Wharf, Heckington Windmill, Ellesmere Boat Museum[CRT] and many others.
We have worked on implementation of interpretation at:
The Midland Railway Roundhouse, Derby, Combe Mill, Ampthill Great Park, St Andrews, Epworth, St Helens Ashby and many others
We have produced an Interpretation Toolkit for the Woodland Trust, Tracker packs for the North York Moors NPA. Thanet DC and learning resources for the Natural History Museum, National Museums of Scotland, English Nature and many others
Our Clients include: the National Trust, the Canal and River Trust, National Museums, the Woodland Trust, National Parks, and organisations across, England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
We specialise in training and mentoring in all areas of heritage management including developing volunteer’s skills and knowledge of interpretation, tour guiding and working with achools.
