About
With twenty years of hands-on heritage and museum experience, I pride myself in taking the mystery out of managing heritage, developing practical strategies that leave organisations stronger, more sustainable, and able to look forward to a feasible future.
More Details
During my 20 years’ experience in the heritage sector, I have worked on all stages of NLHF projects for several heritage organisations, as well as being operational lead, volunteer manager, fundraiser, compliance officer and events manager, following a varied career in tourism, hospitality, finance and education.
I am passionate about bringing people together, telling stories and celebrating communal histories. I completed the AIM Leadership Programme in 2018 and the WMMD Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Champions programme in 2019.
In 2021, after the successful completion of an NLHF-funded capital works and reinterpretation project at Tudor House Museum, I decided the time was right to set up my own consultancy.
Currently I am working with AIM on the New Stories New Audiences grant stream, and as part of the evaluation team for the Birmingham-wide Everything to Everybody multi-arts project. In 2022, I shall be developing a releasing a series of resources for small museums, designed to help them, and the teams behind them, become more resilient.
