GEM Conference 2020

SAVE THE DATE:

Wednesday 9 September – Friday 11 September 2019, The Historic Dockyard Chatham

The GEM annual conference is the landmark CPD event of the year for heritage learning in the UK. Through a combination of inspiring keynotes and practical sessions, GEM conference provides delegates with new ideas, original solutions and strengthened networks. We build a participatory space, by Gemmers, for Gemmers, uncovering new pathways and shining a spotlight on best practice and cutting-edge developments.

GEM conference is always a great opportunity to connect with the fantastic heritage learning community, sharing our challenges and celebrating our innovations.  For 2020, we are excited to welcome Gemmers from across the world to the new home of the GEM Office, Historic Dockyard Chatham in Kent. There are lots of unique sites to visit and amazing learning going on in the South East of England that we are eager to share with delegates from near and far.

Our conference this year will have ample networking opportunities, hands-on workshops and plenty of unique locations and activities…. We will even be using a historical ship as the site of one of our breakout sessions!
