La libera professione è spesso un’opzione obbligata per molti educatori museali che vivono e lavorano in Italia, ma è anche un’opzione che offre potenzialmente una maggiore autonomia e libertà creativa. Quali sono i vantaggi e le sfide di una simile scelta professionale e cosa possiamo imparare dall’esperienza dei nostri colleghi che vivono e lavorano all’estero?

Questo è il primo di una serie di incontri organizzati da GEM Italy in cui due educatori museali, uno operante in Italia e uno operante all’estero, verranno invitati per confrontarsi sulla loro esperienza.

L’intento di questi incontri è aprire il dibattito sulla professione a un confronto internazionale che arricchisca il settore in Italia e conseguentemente a livello internazionale.

Gli incontri si svolgeranno in lingua italiana.

Freelancing is often a necessary option for many museum educators living and working in Italy, but it is also one that offers potentially greater autonomy and creative freedom. What are the benefits and the challenges of such a professional choice and what can we learn from the experience of our colleagues living and working abroad?

This is the first of a series of conversations organised by GEM Italy in which two museum educators, one working in Italy and one working abroad, will be invited to share their experiences.

The aim of these events is to open the debate within the profession to an international comparison that can enrich the sector in Italy and consequently on an international level.
