Environments for co-creation
26 January 2022 @ 12:30 - 15:30
£15 – £50*We are delighted to be able to offer GEM members discount to our Sharing Space 2022 series as part of Engage and GEM’s reciprocal relationship.*
Join colleagues from across the UK for the second of four linked online conversations on visual arts and co-creation. Sharing Space explores how artists, organisations and people create art and catalyse social change.
What are the physical conditions for successful co-creation through the visual arts? We will explore the practical considerations of collaborative art making in different settings; the changing role of those working in participation and engagement and the impact of this work on organisations and communities.
Chair: Fiona Macdonald, Head of Learning at the Design Museum and co-founder of architecture-education organisation Matt+Fiona.
Contributor: Professor Paul Heritage, Director of People’s Palace Projects, Vicky Sturrs, Head of Learning and Civic Engagement at BALTIC, Gateshead, and Joss Allen and Yvonne Billimore, Co-Directors of ATLAS Arts
