This session covers free online tools & open source software to help smaller orgs and museum educators embrace digital in their practice.

Adding digital elements to your workflow can be a challenge at the best of times, to do so on a budget can seem near impossible, but as we all know it has become a necessity in recent months.

Plenty has been said on the best ways to incorporate digital into your practice. But without access to expensive commercial tools to create digital content, many organisations are still at a loss.

This session will introduce attendees to a variety of free online and Open Source tools to address common digital needs in the museum and heritage sectors. We will provide museum educators and workers with knowledge of the tools they can use to incorporate digital into their practice on a budget.
