GEM Cymru are delighted to be working with Emily Nelson from Leeds Museums & Galleries, the architects of the Leeds Curriculum, which has many similarities to the new Curriculum for Wales to provide a training session on setting up an object based loan box service for schools.

In this session Emily will take delegates through the practicalities and how to’s of setting up a loan box scheme and will show the benefits in terms of income generation and engagement with schools as well as how to source resources for boxes.

There will also be a case study from Charlotte Barry of Cyfarthfa Castle Museum Service who have recently used funding from GEM Cymru to adapt and enhance their schools loans box service to take into account the new demands of the CfW.
