The ‘next normal’: engaging with schools with stories of war and conflict, in light of COVID-19

19 November 2020

Free

The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically affected the ways that children learn, and the heritage sector faces the challenge of adapting to this. This online conference will consider how we can continue to engage schools with stories of conflict from the First World War to the present day, by looking at the digital offer across different organisations and preparing for physical visits to resume. We will have sessions looking specifically at STEM provision (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

CALL FOR PAPERS Open until Friday 30 October at 5.00pm (GMT).

Organised by IWMs’ War and Conflict Subject Specialist Network, with the kind support of Arts Council England and Art Fund.
