Join GEM Northern Ireland at Carrickfergus Museum for a visit to ‘Reimagining the Islandmagee Witches: an Interactive Exhibition’ on Wednesday 8 November at 10:30am.

The exhibition tells the story of the Islandmagee witch trials in 1711 and includes a range of interpretative experiences from virtual reality to animation, graphic novel and choice-driven video game. The exhibition has been developed by a multi-disciplinary team from Ulster University and features objects from Carrickfergus Museum’s collection as well as loaned items from National Museums Northern Ireland, the National Library of Ireland and Belfast Central Library.

Collections Access Officer Shirin Murphy will give an overview of the exhibition and there will be time afterwards for a chat and a catch up over a coffee in the museum café.
