Join colleagues from heritage learning & engagement for a friendly day sharing experiences & inspirational ideas.

We’ll be listening to speakers, trying out some museum learning experiences, and discussing what matters to you in this region. Come and share your project successes and challenges. The day will include a practical session on engaging with Early Years families led by Claire Driver. Claire will be sharing her experience working with museums and heritage sites in the region. As well as seeing Braintree’s delightful local history museum in a former Victorian school, we’ll be visiting the Warner Textile Archive nearby which is usually only open by special appointment. Refreshments will be provided including lunch. Whether you’re an employee, a freelancer, a volunteer, a GEM member or not, we’d love to see you!

Members’ bursaries to cover travel costs are available on request from the GEM East Area Reps. Please don’t hesitate to ask.
