Join our new course focused on developing environmentally responsible learning programmes in a museum and heritage learning context. This 5-week online course offers a combination of fundamental theory and practical case studies which will help you enhance your learning strategy, delivery and evaluation. The course enables participants to connect and network to exchange experiences and share their insights into running sustainable learning programmes as well as addressing the topic of climate crisis in them.

The course is about:

  • learning and visitor engagement
  • activities and actions that are achievable within the remit of museum learning teams
  • looking to the future

The course will focus on:

1) How to be as sustainable as possible within our own practice. Developing and

delivering programmes in a way to reduce your department’s carbon footprint.

2) How to deliver engaging content around climate stories and climate justice.

The course will be run on Zoom and will include practical tasks after each session.
