The HERITAGE TRAINING ACADEMY is a free training programme for Black, Asian and other global majority young people aged 18-24 who have an interest in heritage, museums, and arts sectors. The programme will explore what it is like to work in heritage and museums and what opportunities are available.
The course will also include some external visits and inspirational speakers, and participants will receive help with CV writing, interview practise, presentation skills, plus info on job and training opportunities. Two of the participants will have the opportunity to go on to paid freelancer roles at Grand Junction January – July 2023 and support and signposting for all participants will continue for 6 months after the course has finished.

Participants will receive a bursary of £350 for attending all 12 sessions and will also receive out of pocket travel expenses up to £10 per session.

The course will run 6th October – 8th December Thursday evenings 6pm-8pm at Grand Junction, St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Rowington Close, W2 5TF.

There are 10 spaces available and we accept participants on a rolling basis.
