Join GEM North East for an informal online natter to discuss the different methods and systems we all use for collecting feedback and evaluation.

Family Explorers will kick off the discussion with a short presentation about some of the methods they use, before we can all share and discuss the ups and downs of evaluation.

Take a break from emails and bring along your favourite drinks and snacks. All those who work or think about education in a museum, gallery or heritage setting are welcome, whether you are a GEM member or not.

Speaker: Sallyanne Flemons, Project Manager, North East Family Arts Network Family Explorers North East (FENE) is the flagship project of the North East Family Arts Network which supports the region’s culture sector to engage with diverse families to ensure culture is accessible to all.

FENE is a digital project set up in response to research establishing the support families in our region needed to try new cultural venues and genres.

They host a Facebook Group community where thousands of families go to recommend events and ask their peers questions.

They gather feedback from these families and post event recommendations from the members of our network, all of whom have committed to the Family Arts Standards. Ensuring family audiences are heard by the culture sector is at the heart of the project.
