Dr Habib and Dr Bouchard to join GEM as new editors of Journal for Education in Museums
GEM is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Sadia Habib and Dr Dominique Bouchard as new editors of Journal of Education in Museums (JEM) as of 2023.
Dr Sadia Habib is based at the University of Manchester as a Lecturer in Education and as the Manchester Museum Young People’s Coordinator on the Our Shared Cultural Heritage project.
Dr Dominique Bouchard is Head of Learning and Interpretation at English Heritage. She is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries, University of Leicester and a Clore Fellow.
The Journal of Education in Museums provides a variety of articles by practitioners which offer critical appraisal of the theory and practice of museum education. The next issue of JEM will focus on museum education in a changing world and is due to be published in summer 2023. The call for expressions of interest is open until 24th of February 2023.
We are really excited to welcome Dr Habib and Dr Bouchard to the GEM team and look forward to our work on JEM in 2023.
