More Details
I work as an illustrator with a focus on the cultural and heritage sector, bringing collections to life through fun, colourful and accessible artwork. I am able to work closely with your learning team to carefully craft bespoke illustrations and resources inspired by your collections and exhibitions.
Illustrating and developing school and family programmes, resources and projects for museums and galleries is my area of specialism, with over 18 years of experience. I am able to carefully craft bespoke programmes, through consultation and trial sessions and I am able to co-ordinate and evaluate the process. My service also extends to offer both bespoke text content and beautifully illustrated work art and online and in person workshops, demonstrations and talks.
Working from a brief, I am able to develop and deliver exciting curriculum linked schools learning packs, onsite museum maps, activity sheets, games and colouring in sheets. These can also be expanded and adapted for family, SEND audiences and early years. I have worked with a range of clients, including the National Paralympic Heritage Trust, Sporting Heritage, Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery, Historic England, Rugby Arts Gallery and Museum, Gunnersbury Park and Museum, The British Motor Museum, Stratford Shakespeare Trust and the World Golf Museum. I am also available to deliver workshops within your museum and run interactive CPD for staff and teachers. Whether your creative or heritage project is large or small, I have the experience to ensure it runs smoothly, keeping you updated, thinking outside of the box to overcome challenges to meet your outcomes and aims. I can evaluate the project throughout and ensure we extract both qualitative and quantitative data and experiences through creative and specialist methods. Through good communication, I see the importance of developing key relationships and partnerships with organisations and communities to ensure projects are successful and meet everyone’s needs.
My wealth of experience enables me to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines and the needs of clients. I have a current DBS and have public liability insurance.
