About

I offer a range of specialist heritage planning and interpretation services to support museums, heritage sites, organisations and communities at any point in their heritage journey. Whether you are establishing a new visitor attraction, developing an existing site, thinking about heritage activities or in need of training to grow your community group’s heritage skills, I can help.

More Details

I work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, drawing together a friendly and experienced bespoke team for each project, whether delivering for today or planning for tomorrow.

I can carry out a range of plans to help you set clear achievable strategies for the future of your site or collection, to explore opportunities for engaging new and different audiences, and to develop inclusive and engaging heritage activities that will involve communities and inspire visitors. I can also facilitate the detailed design and delivery of interpretation, research and write inspiring interpretive content, and deliver effective training and mentoring to help you and your team achieve your heritage goals, develop your engagement and interpretation skills and build your confidence and capacity.

I have more than twenty years’ experience in the heritage sector and have carried out strategic planning, project development and implementation for a wide variety of clients, including Norfolk Museums Service, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, The Royal Parks, Durham Cathedral, the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and Forestry & Land Scotland, and I have worked on numerous National Heritage Lottery Fund projects from initial proposals through to successful development and delivery.
