Meridith Towne is a dress historian and costume maker who creates, and provides consultation on, historical clothing for heritage sites and museums nationwide, including the Royal Armouries, English Heritage, and The National Trust. Trained at Durham University and The Northern College of Costume, she supplies interactive and informative costumes and props for use by workshop providers, volunteers, and school groups.
