More Details

Nicky has a wealth of experience of working in the sector for a wide variety of clients including local authority, independent and national museums, galleries, arts and heritage organisations, universities and regional bodies. She is experienced in carrying out audience research, consultation and evaluation for projects of all sizes as well as analysing and reporting the data in a meaningful way. She has expertise in collecting and analysing evidence from a wide range of audiences using a variety of traditional and more creative data gathering tools where appropriate. Communicating effectively and delivering quality work on time and to budget is a key strength. She particularly enjoys projects where she works closely with clients to build capacity and strongly prefer projects that plan evaluation from the outset.  She always adheres to high ethical standards throughout the whole evaluation process and has an ethical standards statement which she works to. She regularly trains and mentors others in her specialist areas. She has a Certificate in Teaching in Adult & Higher Education from Birkbeck College, University of London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Studies from Leicester University and a BA (Hons) Degree in Archaeology from Liverpool University. She was Chair of the Visitor Studies Group from 2006-2008 and is currently a committee member of the London Museums Group.  Other professional memberships include the Museums Association and the Creative Industries Federation.
