Issy is a freelance author illustrator. Her brand, Isabel Benavides Illustration, focuses on wellbeing, kindness and environmentalism. She aims to make gentle, playful pictures and stories that help us to make sense of the world around us. Having worked in the museum sector most of her career in audience development and collection management roles, she is a Museum Accreditation Mentor to John Wesley’s New Room, Bristol. She is also a part-time museum fundraiser.
