GEM Cymru: The New Curriculum For Wales

GEM has launched a series of free workshops, training sessions, learning resources and other opportunities to support the museum learning sector in Wales. The programme which launched in 2022 will continue until March 2023. The project aims to stimulate innovative thinking and practice of new resources and Curriculum for Wales specific activities in the museums and cross sector organisations throughout Wales.

Mae GEM wedi lansio cyfres o weithdai, sesiynau hyfforddi, adnoddau dysgu a chyfleoedd eraill, rhad ac am ddim, er mwyn cefnogi’r sector dysgu mewn amgueddfa yng Nghymru. Bydd y rhaglen, a lansiwyd yn 2022, yn parhau tan fis Mawrth 2023. Nod y prosiect yw annog meddwl yn arloesol a rhoi gweithgareddau sy’n benodol i’r Cwricwlwm i Gymru ac adnoddau newydd ar waith mewn amgueddfeydd a sefydliadau traws sector ledled Cymru.

We are currently working on  GEM Cymru Case Studies, a special edition featuring the best practice examples from across the museum learning sector in Wales. Submit your initial case suggestions.

Gall amgueddfeydd achrededig yng Nghymru wneud cais am grantiau o hyd at £1,200 (uchafswm o £3,500 i bob rhanbarth o Gymru) ar gyfer gweithgarwch sy'n digwydd rhwng Medi 2022 i Ionawr 2023.

Accredited museums in Wales can apply for grants of up to £1,200 (£3,500 maximum per Welsh region) for activity which takes place between September 2022 to January 2023.

Mae Adran Diwylliant Llywodraeth Cymru wedi comisiynu GEM Cymru i greu adnoddau sy’n darparu cymorth dysgu mewn amgueddfeydd yng Nghymru, gyda phwyslais ar y cwricwlwm newydd i Gymru.
