Aisha Al-Sadie
Learning and Heritage Officer
Winchester Cathedral
Aisha is the Learning and Heritage Officer at Winchester Cathedral and has worked in museums and heritage for eleven years. After graduating from Edinburgh University with a BA Hons in Fine Art she trained in heritage learning with the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. She became the first Learning Officer at the National Trust for Scotland’s Falkland Palace and Gardens and at John Wesley’s House and Museum in London. Her current role includes designing and delivering tours and workshops for schools and families as well as working in historic collections care and cataloguing.
Sarah Trubshawe
Education Officer
Brunel’s SS Great Britain
Sarah is an Education Officer at Brunel’s SS Great Britain in Bristol. She originally trained as a primary school teacher but after six years she left the sector to take up a role in the Education Team at the SS Great Britain.
In her role she oversees the schools programme which includes delivering school workshops, creating educational resources and supporting a team of volunteers.
Outside of work Sarah is a Guide leader, plays in a softball cricket team and generally enjoys life in and around Bristol.
